this is fun and interesting creator ETFs i) your fav CT person creates index fund of tokens, say ZEC, SOL, BTC, some shitcoin and mints their ETF shares ii) you buy their ETF shares if you think the person is a good decision maker iii) depending on how the ETF does, you can finally know if a given personality is a sound investor or a LARP iv) also useful for when friends ask you what to buy, they can just buy your ETF v) assuming the ETF does well, it also provides steady source of flows to the underlying and helps the defi ecosystem vi) transparency for the coins is built in since you can see CAs and all details by default if I were to make a mert ETF (it would basically just hold SOL and ZEC + some amount of BTC, HYPE and SOL DeFi) — would that be interesting?

The real opportunity in creator coins is for them to be user generated ETFs individuals who research, share a thesis and build a basket of assets against that and earn a fee on the AUM eg., Akshay coin will be just be a wrapper around a basket of , VHYL.L, IUKD.L, URA, IXJ and MCHI that’s programmatically balanced according to rules I set
and obviously CT personas would just be initial GTM, anyone on earth can permissionlessly create their own ETF the limiting factor ofc is that I think this has to all be done on one protocol to minimize counterparty risk of custody, bridging, complexity etc but in a world where SOL has 80% of all assets (aspirational), this works could also probably do it with perps
it seems @symmetry_fi kind of did this — has this had traction? has anyone used it?
@symmetry_fi and you can likely even add predictions to the basket of assets since the prediction markets are now tokenized
