Community Update on Recent Price Volatility Yesterday’s volatility was driven by a very specific, predictable event: the unlock and distribution of Mindshare rewards. To be fully transparent: Mindshare rewards were distributed on time, as promised. Many market participants anticipated that some recipients would immediately sell. When the unlock happened, those who wanted to exit did so quickly, which created short-term sell pressure. Bitdealer’s DEX liquidity has been permanently locked since minute one of launch. Liquidity was never at risk and has never been touched. The ecosystem remains structurally secure. CEX market making operated normally. When there is unusually heavy sell pressure in a short window, market makers adjust spreads, and price moves lower. This is standard behavior in any market, especially during unlock events. We acknowledge that 100% unlocked rewards were a mistake. While we wanted to reward early community engagement, 100% unlock created unnecessary dumping. We will not repeat this model going forward. We have reached a long-term alignment agreement with seed investors. We are happy to announce that no additional tokens will enter circulation from seed vesting or reward unlocks. There are no future unlock events scheduled of any kind. Bitdealer has not sold a single token. In fact, the only activity from Bitdealer has been net buybacks, not selling. We are aligned with long-term value creation. Summary The price action yesterday was not caused by structural weakness, insider selling, or liquidity extraction. It was the result of a one-time reward unlock, combined with rational market behavior from recipients who chose to exit. The long-term fundamentals of Bitdealer remain unchanged: - DEX Liquidity perma locked - No future unlocks or vesting - Strong seed investor alignment - Ongoing buybacks, zero team sells We remain focused on execution, transparency, and building real value.
