ai x prediction markets will be huge. prediction markets are ‘information markets’. ai is really good at aggregation information (eg. chatgpt) and seeking truth. ai will tend to reduce information asymmetry. it’s already getting insane at web search and with tool calling for live data - ai agents will have an inherent edge in prediction markets. they will obviously need a strategy in place and will make prediction markets more efficient. for eg. via llm-based market making, which quote prices (or odds) and market make orders based on the real-time information aggregated. ofc, it'll be hugely probabilistic (and hence good directional risks) further, ai will help retail at better: - new markets discovery (recommends best markets based on the context) - research, analysis, and decision making (and we already rely on chatgpt/grok for all info/opinions) - and it can give rise to new trading modalities. eg. bet on anything directly from chat interface. you'll think, if everyone uses ai, where's the edge? well, there are 5+ foundational models (and 30+ major fine-tuned models) and every model has their own opinions/taste and it's probabilistic. further, it’ll evolve based on user’s memory/context. it will come up with random opinions every time - this makes it inherently interesting. ...
