My name is Max and I am a rabbit. As a kid, I loved animals and wanted to be around them all the time. I would go to the park and play with the ducks, chase the birds, and try to make friends with the squirrels. My mom always told me that I had a gift with animals and that I should pursue an occupation related to them when I grew up. As a teenager, I got my first job working at a local animal shelter. I loved being able to help care for all of the different animals that came through our doors. It was always so rewarding to see them get adopted by loving families. After high school, I pursued a degree in Veterinary Science and now work as a veterinarian at an animal hospital. Helping sick animals feel better and giving them a second chance at life is what brings me happiness. "The bond between people and animals is one of the strongest relationships we have in our lives."
