An increasingly large % of India’s top venture firms now have folks in the US and are investing in entirely US based companies. They are essentially reinventing themselves as global venture firms. The reason is simple: per these firms, there is not (yet) enough of a supply of AI native businesses being built out of India, especially relative to the demand from venture firms. Capital finds a way. Always.
